Joe's and Black Label Booking are proud to announce the next edition of The Circle Sessions (a monthly acoustic session that will feature some of the best songwriters straight from Nashville playing in-the-round) - this is an ASCAP presents the Music Publisher of the Year - Sea Gayle Music... These songwriters get to do what they love for a living - write songs. And not just any songs - they write the songs that that go to the top of the Billboard charts, win Grammy’s and CMA’s and ACM’s. These are the guys that are making it happen behind the scene.
This special ASCAP Music Publisher of the Year performance will include:
- Frank Rogers - with three Number One hits: "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin' Song)" by Brad Paisley, "Alright" and "This" by Darius Rucker.
- Jim "Moose" Brown - "It's Five-O'Clock Somewhere" (Alan Jackson), "If Something Should Happen" (Darrel Worley), "For You" (James Otto)
- Lee Thomas Miller -”I'm still a guy” by Brad Paisley, “You're Gonna Miss this,” by Trace Adkins, and “In Color” by Jamey Johnson.
- Don Sampson - “Waiting On A Woman” (Brad Paisley), “Midnight In Montgomery” (Alan Jackson) and “What’s A Guy Gotta Do” (Joe Nichols)
A note about Sea Gayle Music - Sea Gayle Music is an independent music publishing company based in Nashville, Tennessee. It was formed in 1999 by songwriter Chris DuBois, songwriter/producer Frank Rogers, and songwriter/artist Brad Paisley. In 2010, Sea Gayle Music was named ASCAP Country Publisher of the Year. This is the first time since 1982 that an independent music publishing company has won this award. Sea Gayle Music is also the parent company to the record label Sea Gayle Records.
This intimate acoustic performance will host all the songwriters on the floor and all seating around the performance area. Tickets and seating as as follows:
